		<description>I don&#039;t think redwood is a very good bow wood. You could try red oak though, that&#039;s what i&#039;m using. you can get it at home depot. and for tutorials, go to www.geocities.com/salampsio. it helped me a lot during the process of building my bow.

I want to make my own bow, and have been considering the use of redwood, but have found no supporting documentation that it is a viable source for the stave.
