San Jose – Seattle road trip 2008

6 friends, a minivan and the road for a week, my vacation is fast approaching. After 3 weeks of grueling work, I am taking time off to discover the north-western coast and its national parks and sights. We’ll also be spending a day in Portland, and 2 in Seattle. I hope to have a ton of pictures of the entire road trip when I get back on July 19th. Checkout the photo-albums section in a couple of weeks for a photo-log of the trip. I’ll be leaving San Jose on the 12th, right after I finally get an iPhone.

Casablanca lost a record

The largest pool on earth used to be the Orthlieb pool, right by the beach at what I think is either “Miami plage” or Tropicana beach resorts (I don’t remember, feel free to correct me if I am wrong). Unfortunately, times change and a giant $1 billion pool was just completed elsewhere. The Guinness Book of World Records says it is the world’s largest swimming pool, it measures 1,013 metres in length and covers an area of eight hectares.
